My 2 Animals- How are they alike? How are they different? I'll tel you!

Orangutan vs. Koala

Animal: Orangutan

Orangutans are mammals. They are found in Sumatra and Borneo of Southeast Asia. They mostly live in forests. They spend a lot of time in the trees., how cool?! Orangutans like to eat fruit, shoots, bark, leaves, seeds and even insects! Most males are about 4 ½ feet tall, and females are a little smaller.  They have two hands and two feet. Their body is very hairy, usually brown hair and dark brown eyes.

Animal: Koala
Koalas are mammals. They are found in Australia. They mostly live in Eucalyptus forests. They spend a lot of time on tree branches.  Koala’s like to eat leaves, especially eucalyptus. Most Koalas’ are about 2 to 3 feet longer.  They have two hands and two feet. They have light gray fur with some white spots and a oval black nose. Koala’s have brown eyes. They use their hands to snatch food (leaves) off the branches while grasping their feet to the branch. Koala’s have 5 “fingers” on each hand.

Orangutan & Koala

Orangutan and Koalas are both the same because they are both mammals. The two animals I chose are found in forests and like to spend most of their time on branches. Similarly, they eat leaves and have fur around their bodies. They both have 5 fingers on their hands and also have brown eyes.
